WITH the Avon Track & Field Championships cancelled as their track was not available Yate & District AC has stepped forward to stage a series of open meetings in which county medals will be at stake.
The club has outlined three open meetings in which some – but not all – will incorporate Avon County Championship events with medals awarded to athletes who are eligible for representing Avon.
Dates for the meetings include June 12th, July 17th and August 14th.
