KIERAN Young romped to an impressive victory in the Brent Knoll hill race on Sunday.
Combatting gale-force winds whipping in off the Bristol Channel the Wells City Harrier regained the title he last won two years ago – brother Nathan won twelve months ago – from Yeovil’s Richard Bateson with the Bristol & West pair of Mark Edwards and Rob Stewart third and fourth respectively.
Top woman was Niki Morgan of Chepstow from B&W’s Hannah Walsh and Minehead’s Jo Taphouse.
