GREAT news – the Weston Prom 5 miles road series is back on the calendar.
This nine race series, which starts a week on Thursday and goes through until May, has long established itself as one of the most popular in the West Country.
The race is held on a flat, fast course along the seafront – though weather conditions obviously have an impact on times – and for the 2021/22 series will now be held on an exact two laps course.
This race is staged under UKA Rules and we will have medical cover provided. The accuracy of the course measurement has been certified by a UKA approved course measurer. Results will appear on the Power of 10 rankings.
To support a Covid safe race entries will be online only and there will be no entries on the day.
The main 5 mile race takes place at 7:30 with the Junior 1 mile races starting at 6:30 and 6:45.
The race HQ is at the Bay Cafe in the Tropicana, Marine Parade, W-s-M, BS23 1BE. Parking is available along Marine Parade at a cost of £1.50 after 6pm.

It is also worth noting that to enter the whole series costs just £50, which is great value for money – and a good way to test your fitness over the winter months into the spring of 2022.
