NO apologies for re-producing this photo shown on the Westbury Harriers Facebook site for illustrating the beauty of running in the winter.
The photo was taken by Gerry Ashton during the Kymin Winter Run near Monmouth last weekend and captured the moment when the sunlight burst through and blue skies emerged after a dull and foggy start.
At moments like this running isn’t about winning or losing; it’s just about taking part and enjoying the moment.

For the record the Westbury pair of Ian Gawinowski and Mike Harris finished 21st and 90th respectively of the 155 finishers – all of whom received chips and sausages afterwards as part of their entry fee!
