THANKS to the support of the British Milers’ Club Steve Mitchell has got an invite to run in the Morton mile on Friday evening.
Mitchell is determined to break four minutes for the classic distance this summer but at Oxford last weekend fell short in a slow race clocking 4:03.90.
Mitchell’s best remains the 4:00.13 he ran at Cwmbran four years ago.
