TAKING on a very strong Welsh field Bristol & West AC’s Kurt Taylor can feel pretty satisfied to finish seventh in the famous Nos Galan Midnight’s Run in south Wales clocking a time of 15mins 06secs.
Owain Jones and Jack Millar also made the top ten in ninth (15:11) and tenth (15:15) respectively.
Further down the field Josh Moody finished 14th (15:32), Ben Mitchell 16th (15:37) and Adam Wilson 28th (16:20), with the latter just edging out top woman and British international Jenny Nesbitt (16:31).
Top man overall was Swansea Harriers’ Kristian Jones in a swift 14:19, 30 seconds ahead of his nearest rival.
Meanwhile in Germany the Bristol & West AC pair of Kate Maltby and Charlotte Taylor-Green (pictured above) took part in a small New Year’s Eve road race.
“The smile is back and happy to finish 12th but more importantly I loved racing and managed to finish my second race in five months,” said Taylor-Green.
“2018 hasn’t been the greatest year (but) I’m still standing and feel ready to move onto my new challenges and goals.”
