Hugh returns to Liverpool and bags top ten finish

HUGH Sadler produced an excellent run to finish in the top ten at the British Cross Challenge in Liverpool at the weekend.

In his first appearance at the venue for five years – in 2011 he came 25^th in the under 13 boys’ race – the 17-year-old Bristol & West AC athlete came seventh in the under 17 men’s race.

In the other races Westbury Harriers’ Hannah Hobbs (pictured left with coach Pat Gallagher) was 15^th in the under 17 women’s age group as only a handful of local young runners made the long trip to the north west.
