BITTON Road Runners scored a club one-two in the overall men’s prizes of the 2022 Bitton 5k summer series.
Robert Farley and Brian Robb finished first and second respectively with Team Bath’s Ben White third.
The win continues Farley’s recent spell of good form. In the latest South West PB Series 5k at Odd Down he ran a season’s best of 16:01, just two seconds off his lifetime best – set 11 years ago!
Westbury Harriers’ Robin Phillips was the over 40 veterans’ winner from Bristol & West AC’s Jonathon Bennett.
Helen Sawyer of Westbury and B&W’s Karen Watson were the top two women over 35 and Bitton’s Ellie Parker was the best-placed junior female.
