Davis makes the podium to move into second overall in Gwent League

IT has already been mentioned on the blog that Jarlath McKenna finished fourth in the latest Gwent League race but the honour of finishing top local runner went to Josh Davis.

The North Somerset AC runner achieved his best ever position in the league finishing third at Blaise Castle behind Harrow guest Adam Bowden – who was 11th in the ‘National’ last year – and Cardiff student Dan Nash.

Davis had previously finished fifth and ninth this season so now lies second overall behind Nash.
