BEN Robinson had a successful Bank Holiday weekend.
On Saturday the Bristol & West AC runner (pictured) won the Gloucestershire 5000m track title in a time of 15mins 21.0secs then on Monday he romped to victory by over a minute (31:49) in the Glastonbury 10k.
Team Bath AC’s Elliott Avis was a distant runner-up in 33:02 with B&W’s M50 Matthew Robinson 10th (35:46) and first veteran just ahead of M40 James Lucas (37:59) of Portishead Running Club. Pete Mountain (43:36) was fourth M60.
Swansea’s Emma Baker won the women’s race (39:01) with Weston AC’s Susan Duncan fourth (41:06).
