ADAM Wilson continued his excellent season with a big personal best over 1500m at the Midland Counties Championships over the weekend.
The 19-year-old Yate & District AC runner finally broken the 4mins 10secs barrier as he clocked 4:08.42 to clip almost three seconds off his PB.
It was his second PB in a week having run 4:11.3 at the BMC PB Classic meeting in Milton Keynes the previous weekend and means he has improved his 1500 time by eight seconds this summer.
Adam has also notched up PBs at 800m (2:03.95) and 3000m (9:23.51) but 1500m remains his big event and his latest improvement takes him to number 4 overall in the IPC T20 classification UK rankings and number 1 overall in England.
