LOCAL athletes Adam Wilson (pictured) and Freddie Owsley have been named in the short list for the 2015 Bristol Sports Awards.
Bristol & West sprinter Owsley, who made his GB international debut in the European Under 20 Championships, has made the list for the Young Sports Personality category while Yate & District AC runner Wilson is included in the Disability Performer of the Year for his achievements in bot athletics and football.
The victory ceremony will be held at the Marriott Hotel, Bristol, on Thursday, October 22 and the guest of honour will be Bristolian Gareth Chilcott, the former Bath and England rugby prop.
