MIKE Wilsmore raced to a thumping victory in the South of England Championships at the weekend.
The 31-year-old Bristol & West AC runner (pictured right) finished three seconds clear of the field for a handsome victory in a time of 3mins 44.48secs, just a fraction outside his PB of 3:44.41. It was, though, a season’s best for the Plymouth-based runner.
Luke Prior of Wells City Harriers won the under 20 men’s 5000m title in a time of 15:27.07, over 10 seconds clear of his nearest rival.
