SO congratulations are due to Mike Blackmore and wife Fiona who became proud parents at the weekend.
Mike, who recently switched allegiance to Team Bath AC after years with Bitton Road Runners, had been due to run the Vitality Bath half marathon on Sunday as Fiona hadn’t been due to give birth until Easter Saturday but baby Ruby Alice Irene, 6lb12oz, arrived early on Friday night.
I am told mother and baby doing well – and Mike didn’t mind missing the Bath half at all!
