ALEXANDER Whittaker sliced 1min 44secs off his personal best in the Stockholm marathon at the weekend.
The Bristol & West AC runner clocked 2hrs 51mins 40secs to finish 134th in the event and place him 112th in the South West Rankings.
It is his third significant personal best this year having also set fastest times over 10k (35:03 Caerphilly last month) and the half marathon (78:30 in Newport, in April).
