Westbury salute top athletes Rawlins and Treble in annual awards

BEN Rawlins and Catherine Treble have been named the Westbury Harriers senior athletes of the year.

The club recently held their annual presentation ceremony with James Murphy handing out the awards to a talented cross section of the club.

The senior team of the year award went to the senior women’s squad of Treble, Tilly Spinney, who also received the under 20 athlete award and Katie Hughes, who won the silver medals at the South West Cross Country Championships.

It was also good to see Anthony Glover get an award for his work on the coaching side while Robyn Esther Ellis’ contribution to the club over many years was recognised by being handed a treasured life membership.
