SOMERSET runner Oliver Fox is determined to stay relaxed ahead of making his international debut for Great Britain at the European Cross Country Championships in France on Sunday
It will b
e the 19-year-old Wells City Harriers’ first appearance in the event and while he won’t be expected to finish on the podium or even in the top ten of the under 20 men’s race he is hoping to make the GB scoring team of four – having finished fifth in the trials.
“I’ll be trying to treat this event like any other big race,” said Fox, who is a first year medical student at Cambridge University.
