Absolutely awesome: Team Avon celebrate their success
TEAM Avon has qualified for the National Finals of the UK Youth Development League U20/17 in Manchester on September 8th.
The composite squad, comprising athletes from Bristol & West AC, North Somerset AC, Team Bath AC and Yate & District AC, won the final match at Yate on Sunday to secure their place in the end-of-season finale at the SportCity Stadium.
That is a terrific effort by the team and enormous credit to the athletes, coaches and officials who take part to ensure top level competition for this age group.
