KURT Taylor had a solid run to finish third in the Hendy Eastleigh 10k road race over the weekend.
The Bristol & West AC runner (pictured right) clocked a time of 31mins 11secs in only his second outing over the distance this year after running 30:22 in the Speedway 10k in May.
Since then Taylor has notched u p a PB of 14:28 over 5k in London and also won the opening South West PB Series 5k at the Odd Down cycle circuit at the end of June.
His lifetime best over 10k remains the 30:15 he ran two years ago at the Ribble Valley 10k but on the basis of his 5k performances a sub 30 must be on the cards at some point.
