BRISTOL & West AC middle distance runner Will Christofi has been awarded the club’s own 
British Athletics League top performance of the summer.
Christofi (pictured left in action) received the accolade thanks to his victories in the 800m B and 1500m A events at Bedford to set up the club’s first ever Division Two success.
The national athlete award went to Tom Gale (pictured below) for finishing ninth at the World Junior Championships in a club record of 2.18m while the BAL athlete of the year prize went to unsung hero Sam Boulton.
“Sam won it for an incredible series of consistent and mature performances in the senior shot and discus throughout the year. Simply put, without people like Sam the team wouldn’t exist,” said team captain Caspar Eliot.
