Stone roars back with sizzling PB in Loughborough 100m

CHRIS Stone announced his comeback after suffering a shoulder injury during the indoor season with a personal best at the Loughborough International Games yesterday.

The Bristol & West AC junior international sprinter (pictured below in the Easy Runner shop) clocked 10.44secs in the 100m to win the C race and eclipse his legal PB f 10.45secs. Stone also ran 21.25secs in the 200m to finish third in the B race.

Representing GB Juniors for the first time Tom Gale cleared 2.09m to finish sixth. It is his third best jump ever behind his recent marks of 2.14m and 2.13m.

Harry Lane recorded a 20 seconds PB in the 3000m steeplechase representing Loughborough in the match race and hisChrisStoneEastRunnerwinner time of 9mins 24.65secs and lifts him to fifth in the South West Rankings.

Fresh from his excellent winter season Will Christofi showed he is on for something special over 5000m this summer with a swift 8mins 16secs in the 3000m to carve eight seconds off his previous best.

Mike Wilsmore also got his qualification for the British Championships with a time of 3:46.99 in the 1500m.
