Plans for new parkrun in Bristol get council all-clear

WESTBURY Harriers this week reported on their social media feed that there could soon be a new parkrun in Bristol.

The story reported that a proposal to start a new parkrun in the Blaise Estate has received approval from Bristol City Council, which is a significant step forward – and without which the project is a non-runner.

If anyone is interested in becoming part of the core team to set up the parkrun please send Matt Dorber a message: Matt Dorber | Facebook

Inevitably for the new parkrun to be a success a large group of volunteers will be needed.

Established parkruns in and around Bristol already include Ashton Court (pictured), Eastville Park and Pomphrey Hill Playing Fields, Mangotsfield.
