EMILY Diamond may have ended her season but it seems like the good times continue to roll for the Bristol & West AC international sprinter.
The Olympics bronze medallist for the 4x400m relay (pictured below right with Lily Owsley) has just won the British Athletics Supporters Club Rising Star Award for her perform
ance in Rio.
That is quite an accolade as the BAS people are all very knowledgeable fans and certainly now their athletics so can look beyond the headlines and pick out some of the real highlights.
Emily’s run on the third leg of the relay was certainly one of those highlights.
