CLEVEDON AC’s Laura Meech opened her cross country season with a good performance in the opening Gloucestershire Cross Country League match at the Cotswold Country Park, Guiting Power.
Meech (pictured) was ninth of 153 finishers in the senior women’s race and leading Bristol & West runner was Fiona Eatherington in 15th.
Dan Jones of Team Bath made the top ten in the men’s race to lead his club to third behind the dominant Cheltenham squad, who also wn the women’s team title for the first time.
