FORMER Bristol & West runner Shaun Antell equalled his personal best in a high quality race in the latest Yeovil Summer 5k road race earlier this week.
Antell, who is now with Bideford, clocked 14mins 45secs to finish second behind Wells City Harrier Ben Tickner (14:44) and beat GB international Frank Tickner (14:49). Josh Guilmant was fourth in 14:56 as the top fou all broke 15minutes in one of the best races of the series.
Bristol & West’s Luke Evans continued his comeback with 15:41 in ninth and top woman in 17th overall was former Olympian Kate Reed (pictured) in 16:33. It was her third win of the series.
