Kate takes another big step back as B&W women impress

KateReed2KATE Reed stepped up her comeback by another gear with a super performance in the Cardiff 10k today.

The event was easily the highest profile event that Reed (pictured) has tackled since making her return to action and she will take great encouragement from finishing third woman in a time of 33mins 34secs,

The former Olympian was only beaten by Stroud’s Rachel Felton (33:25) and ex-GB international veteran marathon runner Michelle Ross-Cope of Stoke (33:34)

Reed was followed home by Bristol & West clubmates Jenny Spink (5th, in a PB of 34:07, Jasmine Finney (10th, 35:07) and Kate Hulls (18th, 36:13) for what surely must be a winning team score.
