CALLUM Jones was crowned South West champion over 3000m in Exeter last night.
The Bristol & West AC runner clocked a personal best of 8mins 24.02secs to beat team-mates Kurt Taylor (8:27.42) and Jack Millar (8:27.94) into second and third respectively.
The championship race was incorporated into the latest British Milers’ Club meeting at the Exeter Arena and produced seven PBs from the 12 finishers.
Others to notch up fastest times were Bristol & West runners Harry Allen in fourth (8:26.68), Jed Bartlett (8:58.19) and Andrew Watt (9:05.81) while former Team Bath runner Will Stockley was eight in 8:50.39.
There were no women in the event.
