JOSH Davis continued his excellent start to the winter season with a thumping victory in the second fixture in the 2015/16 Gloucestershire Cross Country League season.
The North Somerset AC runner finished 1min 19secs clear of Cheltenham’s Harry Bishop with a powerful display on Peachfield Common, in Malvern.
The win comes a few weeks after Davis finished fifth in the opening Gwent League race while at the start of last month he also won the Burnham half marathon.
If he can continue this from then Davis could be heading for his best winter yet.
