Helen makes a welcome return to action after injury

HELEN Sharpe announced her return to competition after injury with an encouraging fourth place in the second Gwent Cross Country League fixture in Brecon.

The 35-year-old has (picture below on the right with clubmate Jenny Spink) has struggled with injury for most of the yearhelensharpe and hardly raced at all during the summer but she is a natural on the country and showed that with a positive run to lead Bristol & West to top spot in the women’s team competition with clubmates Fiona Marks and Julia Belyavin also making the top ten.

Leading Westbury Harrier was former Easy Runner athlete of the month winner Emma Journeaux (pictured below) in 11th with Ellie Leather right on her heels in 12th to help the Harriers finished third team.emmajourneaux
