TIME is running out to complete an on-line entry for the Midsummer Clevedon 10k road race next Tuesday (June 14th).
The event is always very popular and is held over a fast, flat course between Clevedon and the village of Kingston Seymour.
There is an extensive prize list plus a £100 cash bonus for breaking the course records – though that will be hard-earned as the records belong to former internationals Rob Whalley (29mins 56secs – pictured below in action for his club Bristol & West AC) and Karen McCleod (33:41).
Postal entries are now closed and on-line entries can be made until midnight on Saturday June 11th. Entries will be taken on the night with a £2 premium.
Race HQ is at Mary Elton School in Lower Strode Road, Clevedon, and there is limited parking, showers and changing available at Strode Road Leisure Centre.
