‘It was one of the biggest ladies fields I have ever seen’

Also making the top 100 were Kelly Winstone (72nd), Katie Elliott (90th), Emma Woodworth (94th), Jeni Stevenson (97th) and Tamsin Elson Chick (98th).

“After having a quiet 12 months on the ladies front, it was great to see lots of new faces in the squad and members who hadn’t raced a Gwent for a while back in action,” said team captain Tamsin Elson Chick.

“It was one of the biggest ladies fields I have ever seen so well done all! People will move forward a few places once they take out the V65 & V70 men. So a great solid start in all our age groups.”

The next Gwent fixture is on Saturday 12th November in Brecon.
