CONGRATULATIONS to Bristol & West AC’s super vet Anne Dockery for a fabulous run at the Telford 10k road race on Sunday.
Dockery (pictured right) finished first veteran over 70 in a super time of 49mins 24secs, her second best of the year behind the 48:38 she clocked at the Bourton 10k in February.
Another west veteran runner to catch the eye was Bideford’s Ronnie Richmond, who won the over 40s award in a time of 30:01 – just two seconds outside the PB he set over the same course three years ago.
As reported previously B&W’s Kurt Taylor smashed his PB with a time of 29:25 to finish 18th and leading west runner in this top class race and clubmate Chelsea Baker was leading west woman with a huge PB of 34:13.
