IN-FORM Josh Davis of North Somerset AC will start among the favourites to win the senior men’s race for the Tri-Counties Cross Country Championships at Bath University on Sunday.
Davis goes into the race on the back of a career-best third place in the latest Gwent League race at Blaise Castle last weekend, which lifts him into second overall after the first three fixtures.
On paper Davis, who is coached by Steve Hollier, was third in the same event twelve months ago and certainly looks capable of improving upon that this weekend.
Among his rivals will be Kieran Young of Wells, Corsham’s Damian Hall and Team Bath’s James Donald.
