The race, which is sponsored by Easy Runner, doesn’t start until 11am to give everyone the chance of a lie-in and offers nice course around the village of Kewstoke, just outside Weston.
As the official race blurb states: ‘The Hangover 10km helps you to get over the effects of the night before.’
For entry details see the race website at: westonac.co.uk
For the record the course records are held by Bristol & West runners Michael Johnson (31:04, 2011) and Kate Hulls (36:45, 2015 and pictured left).
Kate’s time was good enough to place her fourth last year of the 222 finishers while overall victory went to Clevedon AC’s Luke Murray (34:54).
