FORMER British international marathon runner Wayne Buxton is organising a running camp in Nendaz, Switzerland, later this year.
Working through his company ‘Classic Running’ Buxton, who is a member of Bristol & West AC, will link up with Westbury Harrier Nigel Gates, still blazing a trail as a veteran over 60 and Bath-based John Kerley to offer a stunning selection of training runs.
“The Run Valais camp runs from 25th July to 2nd August,” said Buxton, who boasts a lifetime best of 2hrs 16mins 38secs from the 1991 Rotterdam marathon.

Buxton, Gates and Kerley have amassed a vast knowledge of running in the area over the years and have scouted some top training runs that incorporate plenty of flat options amongst the hills.
