CONGRATULATIONS to North Somerset AC teenager and former Easy Runner/Bristol Post athlete of the month winner Ada’ora Chigbo (pictured right) for winning a silver medal for England at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa.
Chigbo, who is coached by Ken Holmes, finished runner-up in the women’s high jump behind England team-mate Niamh Emerson of Amber Valley.
Emerson achieved a mark of 1.80m, just shy of the PB she set in winning the England title before flying out to Samoa with the team while Chigbo’s 1.77 secured her second place ahead of Australian Paige Wilson
