THE 21st Somerset Race Series got underway on New Year’s Day with the Chard Flyer 10k road race won by Phil Bridge of Wells City Harriers and Amy Greenhalgh of Axe Valley Runners respectively.
As always runners from any club, or unattached, need to compete in at least eight races out of the 17 to count in the series standings with the best eight races to count. For a full list of race see the website at: www.somersetseries.co.uk
